Why no bookmaker on this site carries a review score

Part of the standing axis in this site's model would read a public review score. Not one record on Ghana's register carries one, and the reason is worth setting out because the scores themselves are everywhere.

A global page is not a Ghanaian page

The most common failure is the simplest. A bookmaker has a review profile for its worldwide brand and a separate one, or none at all, for its Ghanaian site. The worldwide score is what a search returns, its reviewers are writing from other continents about other products and other payment systems, and printing it as a Ghanaian rating attributes strangers' experiences to a company operating under different rules.

A score from two reviews is not a measurement

Several Ghanaian-specific profiles do exist and rest on one or two reviews. One reads three point zero from exactly two ratings, one five-star and one one-star. Another reads two point nine from two reviews that are both one star, because the platform pulls a tiny sample toward its own baseline. Neither number carries information and both look identical to a number that does.

And sometimes it is a different company

One brand on this register shares a name with an unrelated company in the United States and another in Mauritius. The complaints attached to that name in search results, including one denominated in a currency no Ghanaian account produces, belong to the lookalikes. Attaching them to the Ghanaian licensee would be defamatory as well as wrong.

What is done instead

Nothing. The axis is left unused across the whole table rather than filled with the best available number, and every rejected score is on the log with the check that established it, including which URL returned a page and which returned nothing.
